Trans-Digi Global has been appointed a Himel Elite Partner in Singapore. The Elite Partner Program (EPP) is Himel’s partner programme focused on training, certification and priority support. For customers, the appointment means a Singapore supplier with a direct, supported relationship with the manufacturer behind the Himel drives, soft starters and circuit protection in their panels.

This update explains what the programme is, how Himel describes it, and what changes, and what does not, for the panel builders, M&E contractors and consultants we work with.

What the Himel Elite Partner Program is

Himel describes the Elite Partner Program as offering “a suite of exclusive benefits designed to elevate partners’ capabilities and market presence,” delivered “through specialized training, certifications, and priority support” (Himel: Driving Excellence with the Elite Partner Program).

In the same article, Himel describes an EPP meeting in China built around:

• factory tours and walkthroughs of testing facilities and logistics operations;
• hands-on training sessions intended to make participants certified experts able to provide after-sales service to their customers;
• service policy training on industrial automation and control products, including variable speed drives (VSDs), control transformers, miniature relays and digital time switches.

In short, the programme is designed around capability: product knowledge, after-sales service and a supported line back to the manufacturer.

About Himel

Himel is a global manufacturer and supplier of electrical products for low-voltage power distribution, final distribution, power management, motor control and protection, industrial components and home electrical applications, with a footprint in more than 50 countries (Himel: About us). Its timeline records the start of international operations with production at a new facility in China in 2007, the reinforcement of its industrial automation portfolio in 2019, and the launch of products including the SOLAR VSD and soft starters in 2021.

Our partners page puts it plainly: “Himel is our locally stocked flagship range… This is where our stock depth is.” It lists HAVSP smart pump drives, HDS general purpose drives, HVAC series drives, HSC, HSS and HSB soft starters, HDM6 and HDB6 circuit protection and HDC1 contactors.

Two credentials support Himel specification on Singapore building projects. Our Tengah Plantation C1 case study records that the Himel HAVSP series is approved for use in HDB projects. And the HAVSP Smart Pump Series holds a Singapore Green Building Product (SGBP) certificate awarded to Trans-Digi Global: certificate SGBP 6163, rated Excellent (3 ticks), issued 27 November 2025 and valid through 26 November 2027, covering models from HAVSP4T0022P to HAVSP4T3150P.

The SGBP certification scheme is administered by the Singapore Green Building Council, and SGBP-certified products can earn points towards a project’s Green Mark rating under the Building and Construction Authority’s scheme. Certified products are listed in the SGBC product directory.

What does not change

The way we work stays the same. Where a specification names a particular brand, we supply it. Where it does not, we recommend based on the duty, lead time and commercial position, and explain the reasoning.
