Silicon Box engaged Trans-Digi to provide Himel HAVSP Smart Pump Series VSDs for multiple HVAC applications within its semiconductor manufacturing plant, covering carpark exhaust ventilation, chilled-water, condenser-water and cooling-tower systems. Trans-Digi also carried out testing and commissioning for the project.
Project Overview
The Silicon Box semiconductor manufacturing plant required variable speed drives to control motors serving four HVAC and ventilation applications: carpark exhaust ventilation, chilled-water systems, condenser-water systems and cooling towers.
The project also required the VSDs to meet specified energy-performance requirements and provide the precision readings needed for accurate motor-speed control across the HVAC equipment.

Trans-Digi supplied Himel HAVSP Smart Pump Series VSDs for the manufacturing plant’s HVAC and ventilation systems.
