The Land Transport Authority (LTA) engaged Trans-Digi to provide a soft starter for the fire pump system at the Kim Chuan Depot Extension. Trans-Digi supplied a 160 kW Himel HASXS Expert Series Soft Starter, together with testing, commissioning and parameter configuration for the project.

The Kim Chuan Depot Extension required a soft starter solution for the fire pump system serving the underground rail and bus facility.
As the fire pumps form part of the facility’s critical systems, the project required the soft starter to be correctly configured for the application and commissioned for dependable operation.
